Blake Martin is a sophomore on the ARC Football team. He started out as a greyshirt in the fall of 2016. During the fall of 2017 he was a rotational starter and played on the special teams. Coming in from high school, Blake had raw talent, but not a lot of guidance how to develop. With the guidance of Coach Osterhout and Blake?s receiver coaches Mike Johnson, Ryan Gomes, and Coach Joey Hew Len, Blake developed exponentially in his knowledge base of the game and his skills as an athlete.
Blake has also been a scholar athlete every semester that he studied at ARC, having a cumulative GPA of 3.1. He also worked as a tutor in the Dusty Baker Center, helping his teammates and other student athletes with Math, English, and other subjects. Blake is always helpful to those around him and has become a leader for his teammates.
