Donovan Hawkins is a sophomore on the ARC Football team. Throughout his time at ARC, Donovan showed that he does not settle for less than great in his academics as well as athletics. Although he is passionate about football, Donovan realizes the importance of academics being first. He has devoted his time and energy into developing on both sides of the student and athlete and has shown tremendous growth. Donovan appreciates each of the coaching staff at ARC and believes that they are the best team to develop young men into better versions of themselves.
Donovan has also been a scholar athlete every semester that he studied at ARC, having a cumulative GPA of 3.58. He has volunteered in many of the Dusty Baker Center events and projects. Donovan is always helpful to those around him and has become a leader for his teammates. He is finishing his degrees in Physical Education and Social Science at ARC this fall and looks forward to what opportunities lie ahead of him academically and in his sport.
