American River College Athletics has 204 student-athletes receive Scholar Athlete Honors after achieving above a 3.0 GPA for the Spring 2023 semster.  Of the 204 student-athletes receving this honor, 39 of them achieved a 4.0 GPA.  This accomplishment closes out a special 2022-2023 year in which the American River College Athletic Department finished ranked as the #5 community college athletic department in the state and the #2 community college athletic department in Northern California.

The overall athletic department GPA for the Spring 2023 semester was a 2.968, led by Men's Tennis (3.688 GPA), Men's Cross Country (3.537 GPA), and Women's Tennis (3.528 GPA).  The Beavers will kick off the 2023-2024 athletic season on Friday, August 25th, as Men's and Women's Soccer hosts the College of Sequoias and DeAnza College respectively in the ARC Soccer Stadium.
