American River College got off to a fast start, scoring in the bottom of the first and three times in the second inning to build a 4-0 lead, then scored late to defeat Napa Valley College 10-2 at Beaver Field on Tuesday.  LHP Andrew Wiesenfarth (Rio Americano) improved to 3-0 on the season by pitching 6 innings, allowing two runs and striking out three.  Freshman 3B Sonny Ledford (Rio Americano) led the way offensively with 3 hits, including a double.  Sophomore CF Cade parker and freshman 2B Scotty Henrichs (Granite Bay) each had a pair of hits and RBI's. 

The game was close until the Beavers broke it open with 5 runs in the bottom of the 7^th to put the game out of reach.

A.R.C. will play Butte College tomorrow (Wednesday) at 2:30 p.m. at Beaver Field.  This game was scheduled for Thursday but is being moved up to avoid the rain predicted for Thursday.
