American River College baseball players from the 2017 team Edgar Gallardo and Craig Broadman have signed National Letters of Intent with four year schools for the 2017-18 school year, A.R.C. head coach Doug Jumelet has announced.

Edgar Gallardo (Riverside Poly High School) signed with Midland University in Fremont Kansas.  The Warriors were 42-20 last season.  "I am very happy for Edgar", said Coach Jumelet.  "He came in here and fit in right away as a good player and a good teammate.  He did everything that we asked on the field and in the classroom and I am sure that he will do the same for Midland."

RHP Craig Broadman (Arcata) signed with Mayville State University.  The Comets ended this past season with a record of 46-12.  "I think Craig landed in a really good place and I think that Mayville got a really good person and pitcher as well," said Coach Jumelet.  "I think Craig will go in there and be a leader right away and flourish for them."
