After tallying up the individual grades, A.R.C. Head Baseball Coach Doug Jumelet announced that the 2018 Beavers earned their highest team grade point average ever, a 2.92.

In only the second year of playing against each other Folsom Lake evened the all-time record against each other at 3 games apiece with a 17-8 victory at Beaver Field on Friday. American River took two out of three from the Falcons last season and Folsom Lake returned the favor this year.

It was supposed to be a day game but the American River College baseball team played a rare night game on Thursday at Folsom Lake College. The game was scheduled at 2:30 but there was a snafu with the officials’ schedules so the game did not start until 5:35 p.m.
