Sophomore RHP Nick Perry (pictured) from Rio Linda High School has been named to the academic all-state team it was announced Thursday.  Perry has had a 4.0 gpa all three semesters at A.R.C.  "Nick has done a great job in the classroom and on the field and he exemplifies what we are looking for in our student-athletes here at American River.  We are all very proud of him and happy for him and his family to get this recognition", said head coach Doug Jumelet.
