As a 6-foot-4 defensive lineman out of Foothill High School graduating in 2018, Pesefea initially earned Division I scholarship offers from nearby California State University, Sacramento and University of California, Davis. He took recruiting trips to both colleges, then decided to enroll at ARC instead.
ARC football team optimistic for new season

As the semester comes to a close at American River College, many student athletes and their teams are looking back on the past season and toward the future. With the summer semester being all that stands in the way before football starting up, head football coach Jon Osterhout says he is hopeful for the future.

Star running back sets high standard for AR football team

He had an average of 6.1 rushing yards per carry last season, one point more than Adrian Peterson had during his groundbreaking 2,000 yard rushing season in 2012. He had 12 touchdowns in 11 games. He’s only fumbled once in 200 carries. His name is Evyn Holtz.
ARC wins shootout over Siskiyous in OT, 44-37

American River College’s football team pulled a win out in overtime against the College of the Siskiyous on Oct. 13, bringing in a crucial win for the season. Running back Mike Green ran the game-winning touchdown in overtime, to give ARC the win, 44-37. The team is 3-3 after seven weeks of the season.
Beavers football head into a bye week after loss to Fresno

The American River College football team lost to Fresno City College 17-3 for their third loss of the season on Saturday. This loss comes right before a bye week that will lead in to their first conference game of the season.
