Bio

Coach Greule is entering his first season with the American River College Football coaching staff and will be responsible for coaching defensive line with a focus on the interior linemen. Coach Greule brings 15+ years of coaching experience ranging from youth football to High School Varsity Football and for the past 9 years running FIrst Team Football Academy based out of El Dorado Hills, offering one on one training, small group training for youth through college level players. He also coaches and coordinates two annual youth summer camps.

Coach Greule has spent the last 8 years coaching his sons on the Oak RIdge Junior Trojans from 1st through 8th grade. He served as defensive coordinator for the first two years and as a head coach for the final 6, Over his time as a head coach he amassed a 43-18 record.

In 2000-2001, Coach Greule was the Defensive and Offensive Line Coach at Casa Roble High School in Orangevale, over that time the team went 18-1-1. Three of his players were placed on the first or second team All City by the Sacramento Bee.

In 2018 Coach Greule began working as an instructor at Linemen Win Games working with the college level players predominantly.

Coach Greule spent his playing days starting at Sacramento CIty in 1994, leading the team in sacks as a freshman with 14, he then transfered to Boise State University for the 95 season where he red shirted. He returned to Sacramento City College in 1996 and playing defensive end was an All American, Academic All American, Team Captain, league DPOY and State DPOY. He transefered to Oregon State the following year and played for two years at Defensive Tackle under Mike Riley and Coach Michael Gray for the Beavers in 1997/1998. In 1999, Coach Greule was invited to camp with the Oakland Raiders, subsequently being cut prior to the season.

Coach Greule lives in El Dorado Hills, Ca with his wife of 18 years, Sarah, and their four children; Jake (14), Theodore (12), Beatrice (8), and Louis (5). Coach Greule is currently in school to get his PE teaching credential for the High School level.
