Bio
Riki King is entering his first season with the ARC Football coaching staff. Coach King will work with the Defensive Ends and Long Snappers as well as other areas of the Beaver Special Teams. Prior to joining the ARC staff, Coach King spent 15 years coaching high school football at Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, CA (1998-2006 / 2013-2015) and Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills, CA (2007 / 2016). Riki also was fortunate to have coached 5 years at Sierra College in Rocklin, CA (2008-2012) where he was the Defensive Line coach and Special Teams Coordinator. While coaching at Ponderosa High School Coach King was able to learn from long time and current Green Bay Packer Offensive Line coach James Campen. While at Sierra College Coach King was able to gain experience and be mentored by successful and long time Junior College coach Jeff Tisdel.
Through his coaching years Coach King has been able to have coached and helped several athletes who have been able to achieve success at many levels of football, most notably, Devantae Bond (Sierra College, University of Oklahoma, OLB-Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Scott Enos (Kicker, Sierra College, University of Hawaii), Michael Grant (DB/Punt Returner, Sierra College, University of Nevada-Las Vegas), Chad Preacher (Long Snapper, Fresno State University), Ryan Jones (DE, Montana Tech. University, Signed FA contract with Baltimore Ravens & New York Giants).
Coach King played his prep years and graduated locally at Ponderosa High School where he was a stand out Offensive Center and Long Snapper in football and a 3 year Varsity starter in basketball. From there he obtained his B.A. in Secondary Education and minored in Psychology at Concordia University in Mequon, WI. Coach King played Offensive Center in college as well as handle all Snapping duties for 4 years. It is in college where Riki truly developed his passion to coach the Special Teams phase of football.
Coach Riki King currently is a General Manager with the Fastenal Company (Industrial & Construction Sales). He lives in El Dorado Hills, CA with his wife Trudi. They have been together since they were 14 years old (Frosh year of HS) , They have 3 children, Gage (16), Nolan (12), Isabella (10).
