Men's Soccer Opens Conference Play with Victory Over Modesto Junior College

The American River College Men's Soocer program opened Big 8 Conference play with a 2-1 victory over Modesto Junior College at American River College.
Trailing 1-0 ater a a goal in the 45th minute by Modesto Junior College, the Beavers were able to storm back in the second half behind goals by Parker Benvenuti and Lhagvaa Zagdragchaa. Parker Benvenuti's goal came in the 60th minute off a great assist from Irving Gonzalez to tie the game at 1-1. Later in the half in the 72nd minute, Lhagvaa Zagdragchaa scored the goal to take the lead at 2-1 for the Beavers after Sultan Rahimi provided the assist.
The Beavers will continue Big 8 Conference play on Tuesday, October 3rd, as they travel to play Folsom Lake College at 12 PM.
