American River Men's Tennis Clay Court Fundraiser

American River Men's Tennis Clay Court Fundraiser

Coming off of one of the most successful seasons in program history, the Beavers participated in the first annual ARC Clay Court Fundraiser, hosted by Ben Combs. The event featured Beaver players playing with, and against, donors from the Sacramento tennis community. The event took place at the home of Ben Combs, who has a meticulously cared for HarTru clay court in his beautiful backyard. The proceeds from the event cover many of the expenses the program incurs over the course of the season, allowing the players to be free of the costs of travel, lodging, entry fees, and equipment while competing for the team. Fundraising is absolutely necessary for the Beavers, especially because they have more expenses than most programs due to the extra competitions they qualify for over the course of the season. The event was absolutely awesome, with great competition, delicious food, wonderful weather, and of course, one of the nicest courts in the Sacramento area. A special thanks to Ben Combs and the Sacramento tennis community for supporting the Beavers and helping our players have the amazing experience they deserve.
