Men’s Tennis Performs Well in the Individual State Championships at Ojai
In the final event of the season, the Beavers performed well in the individual portion of the state championships. In the singles, five of the six qualifying Beaver players moved on to the round of 32.

Cody Duong Wins Arthur Ashe Award, 5 Other ITA Award Nominations for ARC Men’s Tennis
For the second straight season, Cody Duong won a prestigious ITA Award at the annual CCCAA/ITA Award Banquet at the state championships in Ojai. Last season Duong was named ITA Player to Watch, as the top player in the state that would be coming back for his second season of competition.

ARC Men’s Tennis Reaches 2nd Straight State Championship Match, Falls Short to Irvine Valley College 5-1
For the second straight season the Beavers faced off against the Lasers from Irvine Valley College for the state championship, and for the second straight season the Lasers defeated the Beavers 5-1 for the title.

American River Beavers Win Second Straight NorCal Championship, Will Play for State Championship Versus Irvine Valley College
The Beavers rolled through their opponents in the NorCal team playoffs, losing just a single individual match in the process. It is the most dominant performance in recent NorCal playoff history and will give the Beavers the opportunity to compete for the state title for the 2ndyear in a row.

ARC Qualifies All Singles Players and Doubles Teams for State Individual Championships at Ojai
In the singles ARC players dominated the draws, with all six of the Beavers reaching the quarterfinals. Highlighted in the early rounds by #9 seed Andy Vang defeating Solano player, Reis Vince-Cruz, who had previously beaten #8 seed, Jeff Chale (FLC), in the round of 16.

Beavers Able to Withstand Tough NCAA DIII Team, George Fox University
The Beavers had the opportunity to test their level against one of the better teams in the Division III Northwest Conference, George Fox University (GFU). GFU made the trip down from Newburg, Oregon to take on the #1 NorCal JuCo ranked Beavers from ARC.

American River Wins Sixth Straight Big 8 North Conference Title
The Beavers clinched their sixth straight conference title by sweeping the Diablo Valley College Vikings and the Folsom Lake College Falcons in the semifinals and finals, respectively.

ARC Men’s Tennis Goes 2-1 Against Top SoCal Competition
The Beavers traveled to Fresno to compete in the annual North/South Tournament. The event features three of the top teams from each region to matchup against each other in a battle for regional supremacy.

ARC at Santa Rosa
The American River Men’s tennis team traveled to Santa Rosa to take on the SRJC Bear Cubs. In the doubles, the Beavers were dominant, losing only two games in three matches.

Men's Tennis vs Diablo Valley
The Beavers hosted perennial conference rival, Diablo Valley College, in their fourth conference match of the season.

Beavers at De Anza
The Beavers traveled to De Anza College to take on the #2 team in the Coast Conference. In the doubles, Eric De Romas/Andy Vang dominated at the #2 position, 8-1, and Justin Barton/Neville Cooper won by the same score at #3.

Undefeated Beavers vs Foothill
The Beavers stayed undefeated on the season as they beat perennial NorCal rivals, the Foothill Owls, 7-2. ARC got off to a strong start, taking two of the three doubles matches.

Men's Tennis conference matches
The Beavers started off conference play with two shutouts against the Shasta Knights and the Folsom Lake Falcons. The Knights are in a rebuilding phase, looking to regain their former years as a top tier program and the Falcons have improved over the last few seasons to become one of the Beavers toughest conference foes.

Beavers vs Reedley College
After two pre-conference rainouts against Cosumnes River and Modesto, the Beavers were finally able to play their first official dual-match of the season against the Reedley College Tigers.

Modesto Junior College Invitational Tournament
In the most dominant performance at the Modesto Tournament in recent history, the Beavers won every flight, both singles and doubles, without dropping a set.

Scrimmage Versus Holy Names University
In their second scrimmage against some of the top NorCal NCAA teams, the Beavers performed very well against the Hawks from Holy Names University.

ARC Athletics Preview Rally
At the ARC Athletics Spring Sport Preview, several men’s tennis team members were honored for their academic achievements. Justin Barton, Neville Cooper, Tam Duong, Andy Vang, and Eric De Romas were all awarded scholar-athlete awards for achieving above a 3.0 GPA during the fall semester.

Scrimmage Versus Saint Mary’s
In the first competition of the season, the Beavers faced off against NCAA Division I opponent, Saint Mary’s College of California.

2nd Annual Beaver Bowl Fundraiser versus the Sacramento Indoor All-Stars
In the 2nd annual Beaver Bowl, ARC was trying to get redemption for the incredibly close 9-7 loss in the 2016 event.

Paro and Duong Compete at Oracle Cup
Alesia Paro (singles/doubles) and Cody Duong (doubles) competed in the prestigious Oracle Cup in Surprise, Arizona. The duo qualified for the Oracle Cup by winning the NorCal Regional ITA Tournament, hosted by American River College.

American River Players Dominate Preseason ITA Tournament
The Beavers performed very strongly in the annual Preseason ITA NorCal Regional Championships. In the singles, five of the final eight quarterfinalists were ARC players.
