2nd Annual Beaver Bowl Fundraiser versus the Sacramento Indoor All-Stars

In the 2nd annual Beaver Bowl, ARC was trying to get redemption for the incredibly close 9-7 loss in the 2016 event. Unfortunately for ARC the result was the same, as the Sacramento Indoor All-Stars won many close matches to repeat the 9-7 victory over the Beavers. The event is hosted by the Sparetime Indoor Tennis Center and features some of the best players in Sacramento matching up against ARC players, both current and alumni. The Indoor All-Star team is comprised of many former college players from schools such as Boise State, UC Davis, Sac State, Sonoma State, Georgia State, CSU Stanislaus, and BYU-Utah.
The tennis was exciting and extremely competitive. Some of the highlights for the Beavers included Neville Cooper/Justin Barton going undefeated as a tandem and 2015 alumni Jimmy Giovannini/Seppi Capaul relived their glory days as the #1 doubles team in 2015, also going undefeated on the night for the Beaver squad. At the end of the night the loss didn't sting too badly because it was a great night of tennis against some outstanding competition, and it raised some very important funds for the Beavers' upcoming season. The Beavers will be looking for revenge in 2018!
