Scrimmage Versus Saint Mary’s

In the first competition of the season, the Beavers faced off against NCAA Division I opponent, Saint Mary's College of California. In the modified scrimmage format, the Beavers were extremely competitive, winning 5 sets against the Gaels 13. Highlights for the Beavers included Tam Duong and Pete Gibson in singles, and all 3 doubles teams playing extremely well in close matches against their solid Division I opponents. Next up for ARC will be another scrimmage against NCAA Division II powerhouse, Holy Names University on Sunday, January 29.
