The Beavers started off conference play with two shutouts against the Shasta Knights and the Folsom Lake Falcons. The Knights are in a rebuilding phase, looking to regain their former years as a top tier program and the Falcons have improved over the last few seasons to become one of the Beavers toughest conference foes. Highlights from the two matches included back to back 6-0, 6-0 victories for Cody Duong at #1 singles and an impressive day for Andy Vang against Folsom Lake as he lost only two games combined in singles and doubles against tough Falcon competitors. Also, Danny Garcia stepped in to the lineup at #6 against Shasta and earned his first official victory in his Beaver career. ARC will look to continue their conference success against the Solano Falcons on Friday, March 3rd and then will play perennial NorCal rival, Foothill College, on Saturday, March 4th.
