ARC at Santa Rosa

ARC-9                    SRJC-0

Overall: 8-0         Conference: 5-0

The American River Men's tennis team traveled to Santa Rosa to take on the SRJC Bear Cubs. In the doubles, the Beavers were dominant, losing only two games in three matches. The singles was just as one-sided, as ARC lost only nine games in the six individual matches. The highlight of the match was Neville Cooper stepping in to the #1 singles position for the first time this year and beating big-hitting SRJC #1 Trevor Pinder 6-2, 6-1. Danny Garcia (#6) won his match without losing a game for his third singles match win on the season. With the team victory, the Beavers finished regular season conference play with a perfect record for the fifth straight year. At 5-0, ARC will be the top seed and a heavy favorite in the upcoming Big North Conference Playoff. Next up, the Beavers will head to Fresno to compete in the North/South Tournament, where they will compete against some of the top competition in Southern California.
