Men’s Tennis Earns 7th Consecutive Big 8 North Conference Title

The Beavers shutout the Falcons from Folsom Lake to clinch their 7th straight conference championship. The Falcons were shorthanded, without their #1 player Daniel Alves and two other starters. The Beavers took full advantage, led by Pete Gibson at #1 singles, earning the 6-2, 6-1 victory over Stephen Morley. In addition, Gibson and Paul Bhatia cruised to an 8-1 victory over Brian Lee/Dan Lee at #1 doubles and Andrei Anderson/Rob Kendall won at #2 doubles in an 8-0 shutout versus Josh Pechal/Jet Renslo. The Beavers will next travel down south to take on Bakersfield, George Fox University, and, SoCal #1, Cerritos College.
