The team rebounded from their 5-4 loss to the UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs with a resounding win over Big 8 South opponent, the Modesto JC Pirates. At #1 singles Younes Kodiji recorded a straight set victory over the Pirates #1 player Tom Nomof. Robin Sharma, playing in only his second singles match of the spring, scored a 6-0, 6-1 win over MJC #2 Zubaidullah Hamidi. In the doubles, Brendan Moley/Bjorn Ruppin earned a shutout victory over the Pirates team of Jason Eissayou/RJ Garcia at #3 doubles. ARC will next face conference foe, Solano Falcons on Friday, February 27th.
