ARC men's tennis faced off against perennial rivals, the Chabot Gladiators and the Modesto Junior College Pirates, on consecutive days. The Modesto match was moved up to take advantage of the small break in the weather, to ensure the match could be played before the rains hit again. Both matches were shutouts for the Beavers, making a strong statement in the pre-conference season. ARC was led by #1 Ravi Nelson, who beat Chabot #1 Darian Orozco 6-3, 6-3, and Modesto #1 Caleb Poling 6-0, 6-0. Parker Perdue played #2 in both matches and also earned two victories. Sam Kassis played #6 against Chabot and #5 against Modesto, and did not surrender a single game in either match. The Beavers are looking forward to March 7^th when they will play their 3^rd match of the season against NCAA DI competition versus the University of Pacific Tigers.
