In their first dual match of the season, the Beavers took on NCAA DI opponent Sacramento State University. Despite being heavy underdogs, ARC went toe to toe against the Hornets, earning many moments of excitement and opportunities to take leads in individual matches. In the end, the Beavers would fall in each of the individual matches. The most competitive match was at #6 singles, where Ty Maimer (ARC) pushed Michael Gravel (CSUS) to the brink. Maimer would give himself 2 set points in the second set, before falling 6-3, 7-5. ARC will next compete against the Sacramento State University club team at ARC on Friday February 2^nd at 1:30p.
