The men’s track & field team opened their season winning 6 events at Bakersfield after a 5:00am start and 5 hour road trip. Winning events were the 4x100m relay (43.18), Cristian Martinez in both the 1500m (4:02.21) and 800m (1:56.30), Gulab Singh in the 3000m (9:00.59), Devin Hernandez in the Shot Put (45’9.25”) and Chris Buck in the Discus (142’5”). Next week the Beavers will travel to Butte College in Chico.
