Northern California Regional Cross Country Championships – Beals Point, Folsom Lake

3.95 miles

The American River College men's cross country team won their 4th straight NorCal title, and 7 of the last 11. Once again the Beavers were led by Will Reyes who crushed the course record covering the 3.95 miles of hilly terrain in a blazing 19:53. He was closely followed again by Luis Luna in 20:00. Rounding out the top 7 for the Beavers were Sean Jagerson, Chris Kigar, Brennan Holman, Jacob Huston and Patrick Jagerson. The Beavers scored 42 points, well ahead of second place Santa Rosa JC's 82. This was the 15th NorCal championships for the men's cross country team. Last week they captured their 37th conference title (8th in a row). On November 23rd at Woodward Park in Fresno, they will be trying for a three-peat at the State Championships, which would give them 4 titles in the past 9 years.
