SoCal Preview Invitational
The ARC men win again! The Beavers split into three teams today with the A and B teams racing in San Diego at the SoCal Preview at Mission Bay and the C team taking on 9 NorCal teams in Santa Rosa at Spring Lake Park.
The "A" team started with only 6 runners, lost our #3 man to a toe injury early on, but managed to pull off an 11 point win (86-97 win over #2 Mt SAC) against all of the top 14 teams in the state except Hartnell. The Beavers were running on fumes before the race started after a tough 3-week stretch of training and races. The "A" team placed two runners in the Top 10 in Abdul Hamid (9th – 21:25) and Ross Walker (10th – 21:29). Sean Gregg (15th – 21:32), Donald Plazola (24th – 21:49), and David French (28th – 22:00) rounded out the scoring places for the Beavers.
The B team dominated the Overflow race outscoring 2nd place Mt SAC by over 25 points. Anthony Sanchez led the way (4th – 22:11) for ARC. He was followed closely by Galen Fritz (5th – 22:13), Gonzo Morales-Lomeli (7th – 22:17), and Dejon Joseph (9th – 22:34).

In the Pat Ryan Invitational, the C team placed 3rd among the 9 NorCal teams, losing by only 11 points to first place Diablo Valley. Full results can be found at http://www.rtspt.com/norcalstat/
