Former American River College record breaking distance runner Will Reyes, now competing for Chico State, wins CCAA Male Runner of the Year, and the Newcomer of the Year award. Will won the CCAA conference cross country championships covering the 5 miles in 24:13, over 15 seconds in front of teammate Steven Martinez. Reyes is the school record holder at American River in the 5k (14:27) and 10k (29:50).
