American River College men's cross country team won it's 10th consecutive conference championship today in Santa Rosa at Spring Lake Park. We rested the top 5 runners on the team in preparation for next week's Norcal Championships in Salinas at Toro Park. The Beavers still captured 9 of the 14 All-Conference spots. Making a huge jump to grab a spot on the Norcal team was Brad Needles who led until the final few meters but still placed 2nd overall covering the 4 miles in 20:52. ARC would grab the next 4 places with Galen Fritz 3rd in 20:58, DeJon Joseph 4th in 21:12, David French 5th in 21:28, and Anthony Sanchez 6th in 21:43. Rounding out the All-Conference team were Alex Garcia 8th-22:01, Matt Morris 10th-22:17, Johnathan Montoya 12th-22:27, and Conor Wells 13th-22:34.
