Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

After suffering their first loss to a NorCal community college since November 2009, the Beavers bounced back and took out the competition at the Lou Vasquez Invitational in Golden Gate Park. The American River men scored 31 points to 2^nd place Hartnell College's 57. Top performances for the Beavers came from Ozzie Hassen's 2^nd place finish covering the 4 miles in 20:44. Second for ARC was Conor Wells (5^th at 21:06), 3^rd was Daniel Ambriz (7^th at 21:09), 4^th was Ross Walker (9^th at 21:09) and 5^th was Christian Woolfolk (11th at 21:11). The Beavers had 10 runners in the top 25. Next up for the Beavers will be split squad races at either Modesto or Haggin Oaks on September 30 and October 1.
