Daniel Ambriz of American River was the first Beaver to cross the finish line stopping the clock at 25:19 for the 5 mile grass course. He outkicked Ozzie Hassen who finished 5 places back in 25:22. 3^rd for the Beavers was Ross Walker in 25:57. 4^th was Joe Shanahan in 26:28 and 5^th was Brent Hunter in 26:25. The Beavers were without the services of #2 man Conor Wells and #5 man Christian Woolfolk, who both will return, along with the "B" team runners that raced at Modesto yesterday, for the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational in 2 weeks.
