The American River men's cross country team continued its dominance of the Big 8 Conference winning their 11^th straight title under wet footing but dry skies Friday on the American River 4.04 mile campus course. The Beavers took 6 of the top 10 places despite resting their top 5 runners. ARC ended up with 7 runners on the All-Conference first and second teams including Joe Shanahan (2^nd – 21:12), Devin Scheidt (4^th – 21:24), Dejon Joseph (5^th – 21:26), Logan Taggart (7^th – 21:38), Dalton Douglas-Hiley (9^th – 21:44), Matt Morris (10^th – 21:45), and John Kretschmann (14^th – 21:54). The men's score of 27 points was well ahead of 2^nd place Diablo Valley's 65 points. Next up for the Beavers is the NorCal Cross Country Championships where they hope to defend their titles from 2010-2015, Friday, November 4^th at 11:00am at Sierra College.
