The Beavers win the 2018 NorCal Preview at Shasta College 52-63 despite running without 2 of their top 3 runners.

Freshman Ben Blankenburg fights back from last week's zombie-like finish (collapsed a few meters short of the finish) to take 5th overall at 20:48 for the 3.94 miles.

Then came the tight pack of freshmen with Peter Vo (9th, 21:04), Andrew Ribeiro (11th, 21:11), 12th Ben Kizziar (12th, 21:11), and 15th Jorge Pena (15th, 21:13).

Brent Hinter and James Wilde, both sophomores, rounded out the top 7 with Brent at 17th place in 21:16 and James 25th in 21:27.
