Big 8 Conference Championships

The American River College men's cross country team won the Big 8 Conference title after finishing 2nd place last year. The Beavers score of 36 points easily outpaced 2nd place Modesto who had 77 points. Six ARC athletes finished with All-Conference honors including 2nd place Logan Dodge, 3rd place Ben Blankenburg, 9th place Sebastian Leon, 10th place Ben Kizziar, 12th place Peter Vo and 14th place Andrew Ribeiro. Finishing just off the All-Conference team were 15th place Kevin Gonzalez and 16th place Austin Shields. The men's team, after being ranked #1 in the conference all season, backed it up with its 11th title in the last 12 years. The Beavers also beat 2nd place Modesto's team time by over 5 minutes. Next up for the NorCal #1 ranked Beavers will be the NorCal Championships Friday, November 2 at Shasta College.
