The #1 NorCal ranked Beavers knew they would be in for a test from their perennial thorn in the side Hartnell College. The Beavers have been ranked #1 all season, while Hartnell has held on to the #2 ranking since week #1. The last 2 years Hartnell has enjoyed winning the NorCal championships, after the ARC men won it 6 years in a row before that. This year it was the Beavers turn again. After an extremely close battle over the first 3 miles, ARC broke it wide open over the last mile, turning a 3 mile score of 73-76 into a final score of 55-99. That was the 10th NorCal championship for the Beavers in the last 18 years and the 11th under Coach Anderson since taking over in 1995.

The Beavers placed 4 runners on the All-NorCal team with Peterson Vo 10th, Logan Dodge 11th, Joshua Kling 13th, and Benjamin Blankenburg 14th. Benjamin Kizziar finished 17th, Sebastian Leon was 25th and Jorge Pena was 33rd. Coach Anderson was named the 2018 NorCal Men's Coach of the Year.
