ARC Beavers Beat Butte College 5-3 in Game 1 Saturday

A double by Madison West put Butte College on the board in the top of the first.
In the bottom of the first inning, ARC Beavers went back into the lead after Savannah Hanes hit into a fielder's choice, Rylee Meyer walked, Madison Demmon hit a sacrifice fly, and ARC Beavers scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one
run.
Breanna Romero earned the win for ARC Beavers. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and two runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking three. Breanna Williams took the loss for Butte College. The starting pitcher went six innings, surrendering five runs (four earned) on eight hits, striking out three and walking
one.
Bella Garcia set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading ARC Beavers with three hits in three at bats. Demmon, Hanes, and Meyer each drove in one run for ARC Beavers.

Bella Garcia set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading ARC Beavers with three hits in three at bats. Demmon, Hanes, and Meyer each drove in one run for ARC Beavers. Mckenzi Smith collected two hits for ARC Beavers in three at bats.
Isabella Saldana, Chloe Giannini, and Nicole Grupe each collected two hits for Butte College. West drove the middle of the lineup, leading Butte College with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Butte College had a strong eye at the plate, tallying four walks for the game. Butte College turned one double play in the game. Butte College didn't commit a single error in the field. Kylee Richart had the most chances in the field with seven.
