Former Beaver Christina Torres has been named as head coach for the San Bernardino Valley College women's basketball team. She takes over a powerful program that has won eight conference titles in nine seasons.

Torres played her sophomore season at ARC in 2009-2010, when the Beavers made a playoff appearance. Since that time, she has gained extensive experience coaching.
