The American River College Women's basketball program dropped a competitive home game against Cosumnes River College by a final score of 63-50 on Tuesday.
After falling behind by 13 in the first quarter, Beavers stormed back to cut Cosumnes River's lead to single digits in the fourth quarter. However, a Cosumnes River scored key shots late in the fourth to put the game away and take home the victory. The Beavers were led by Noelle Potratz's 26 pints and Aaliyah Jordan's 15 points.
With the loss the Beavers drop to 4-9 in conference and will prepare to travel to play Modesto Junior College at 5:30 PM on Thursday, February 13th.
