Kiki Trujillo from American River College, qualified for the CCCAA Northern California Championships.  The tournament was held at Butte Creek Country Club in Chico on November 7 and 8, 2016.  Kiki placed 17^th out of the 45 golfers, shooting 82 on day 1 and 93 on day two for a total of 175.  This performance qualified her to move on to the State Championships.  The State Championships were held at Morro Bay Golf Course in Morro Bay on November 13 and 14, 2016.  Kiki played well shooting 87 the 1^st day and coming back with an 82 in the fog on the 2^nd day.  This score of 169 placed Kiki 26th out of 51 of the best community college golfers in California.
