Forward Savannah Tijerino-Santos from the ARC women's soccer team was named the Big 8 Conference offensive player of the week for her performance last week in wins over Cosumnes River College and Santa Rosa College.

In the two games she had three assists and was a constant threat to score a couple of goals herself. Against CRC, her dynamic and pointed runs down the right side led to several corner kicks that ultimately led to another one of our goals. In the win against SRJC has both assists on both two goals. The second goal came about when she stole the ball from the center defender and then played the ball into her teammate to finish.
