Looking to improve on the success of the 2017 team the 2018 women's soccer team has started slowly. With fourteen returners and fifteen freshmen the team has had to make adjustments to their style of play as well as get use to each other. Lead by captains Kitsia Pelayo, Kerri Hildebrandt and Tanya Rodriguez the team is working hard in trainings and games to improve and make a run into the playoffs. Savannah Tijerino-Santos is currently leading the team in scoring six goals followed by Monet Lopez (three goals and two assists) and freshman Kai Cooper (two goals and four assists). The Lady Beavers play their next home match on Friday September 21 against Cosumnes River College. The game kicks off at 6 pm.
