The American River College Women's Soccer program defeated Butte College, 3-1, in non-conference action.
In the 17th minute the Beavers got on the scoreboard after Cece Gallegos scored a goal after receiving a great pass from Elle Abdulla. The Beavers expanded their lead to 2-0 after Amelia Servin found Katie Krestinkaia with an excellet pass that lead to a goal in the 32nd minute.
Butte College responded with a goal in the 65th minute to cut the Beavers lead to 2-1. However the Beavers' CeCe Gallegos responded with her second goal of the game in the 77th minute and sealing the Beavers 3-1 victory.
The Beavers will continue their home stand on Friday, September 22nd, as they host Hartnell College at 6 PM.
