In the midst of a week in which they will play three matches back to back to back, the American River College Women's Soccer program split their first two matches.  The Beavers defeated Feather River College 2-0 at home and dropped their road match to West Valley College 3-0.

Against Feather River College, the Beavers used a strong second half to secure the victories.  CeCe Gallegos scored a goal ini the 52nd minute and Maddie Garcia added a goal in the 67th minute of the match.

Against West Valley College, the Beavers battled as both teams entered the second half tied at 0-0.  However, West Valley was able to score goals in the 51st, 53rd, and 79th minutes to take home the victory.

The Beavers will seek to bounce back against Sacramento City College as they host them at home on Thursday, September 28th, at 4 PM.
