The American River College Women's Soccer program defeated crosstown rival Sacramento City College 4-2 to cap a week in which they played three straight matches.
Down 1-0 early in the first half, the Beavers got on the board with a goal from CeCe Gallegos to tie the match at 1-1. In the 58th minute Amelia Servin was able to get the Beavers a 2-1 lead with a great goal.
With a 2-2 match in the second half, Delaney Watson was able to regain the lead the Beavers with a goal in the 70th minute. CeCe Gallegos was able to add her second goal of the game in the 88th minute and secure a 4-2 victory for the Beavers.
The Beavers will have some time off before they officially begin Big 8 Conference play at home against Santa Rosa Junior College on Friday, October 6th, at 3:30 PM.
