Women’s Tennis Wins Big 8 Title
ARC's women's tennis was crowned Big 8 Conference champion after beating crosstown rival Folsom Lake College (FLC) 7-2 on Tuesday, March 28. ARC was 4-0 in conference heading into the showdown while FLC was 4-1.
"I'm very proud of the team," said Coach Steven Dunmore. "This team has battled all year long, every time out, and they have improved every day. It has been very exciting to see their growth."

ARC now prepares for the Big 8 North Conference Championships, where individual players will qualify for the state championships.
After that, the regional team championships will be held, with the top 8 seeds from northern California playing for the chance to battle the #1 team from southern California. On March 16, ARC was ranked #6 in NorCal, FLC #3.
"The strength of this team is depth, both in singles and doubles," says Coach Dunmore. "At all nine positions, we always have a great chance of winning."
