FOLSOM, Calif. - With American River Women's team sweeping at the Big 8 Conference Playoff Championship last week, AR continues to dominate in the Conference tournament. Starting on Thursday April 5th. Michelle Camacho, Kirsten Chrisco, (#2 Seed) Vika Lavor, and (#1 Seed) Eva Spindler all won their first match of the conference tournament 6,0-6,0.

 Sabryana Boudreau won her first match 7-5,6-0 and (#4 Seed) Lilana Spindler won her first match 6-0, 7-5. Continuing on Kirsten Chrisco defeated Shasta in a quick match 6-1, 6-1. Michelle Camacho had a tough loss against Solano. Vika Lavor had a very long grueling match against #1 for Folsom 6-3,3-6,6-3. Lilana Spindler defeated Solano player 6-1, 6-0. Kirsten Chrisco beat Shasta 6-1, 6-1. Boudreau deafeats Santa Rosa player 6-3, 6-0 and Eva Spindler defeats Solano with another quick win of 6-0, 6-0. Kirsten Chrisco put up a very good fight against her own teammate Eva Spindler, but E. Spindler pulls out a win with the score of 6-4, 6-2. Boudreau also puts up a very good fight against her own teammate Lilana Spindler but falls short and loses 6-4, 6-0.

With 3 out of the four players in the quarterfinals from AR they continue to battle. Vika Lavor was put through another long and demanding match against her own teammate Lilana Spindler in another 3 set match 6-2,2-6,7-5. Eva Spindler defeated Folsom player Rowe 6-0, 6-2. Leaving Spindler against Spindler in the finals. Eva Spindler was able to pull off the win of 6-2, 6-3. Leaving Eva Spindler being the Conference Champion.

Doubles

#1 seed Spindler/Spindler defeated Santa Rosa 6-1, 6-1. #2 seed Lavor/Chrisco had an easy win against Sierra with a score of 6-0,6-0. #3 seed Boudreau and Camacho defeated Folsom with a close 7-5, 7-5. Lavor/Chrisco had battled with their teammates Boudreau/Camacho winning 6-1, 6-2. Spindler/Spindler defeated Sierra 6-3, 6-2. Lavor/Chrisco defeated Solano 6-0, 6-1. Spindler defeated Folsom 6-4, 6-2. Leaving Spindler/Spindler and Lavor/Chrisco in the finals of the Conference tournament. Lavor/Chrisco were able to pull out a win of 1-6,6-4,(6).
