Mid-day Tuesday the Lady Beavers took the Beaver Van down to Ventura County. Upcoming morning they supported the American River Men's Team in the State Championship. As a team the ladies would say supporting the men is always a privilege and they always play to their best potential. After the match all the teams from Northern and Southern California attended the Ojai dinner. When receiving awards Eva Spindler, Kirsten Chrisco and Viktoriya Lavor were all nominated. To top the night off Steve Dunmore American River Women's Tennis coach won his third "State Coach of the Year Award." Steve Dunmore is an amazing coach and he always puts his players first, in these last two years he was able to turn the women's tennis program around. His first year coaching at American River winning Conference and now this year winning Conference for the second year. Now ranked as the #2 Team in NorCal Steve Dumore should be proud of his accomplishment. "Steve is a very caring and hard working coach, from singing karaoke in the car rides to coaching us on court he will always have a special spot in our hearts.
