Lady Beavers Win the 2015 Northern California Championships

Freshman Jenica Dodge led the lady beavers to their Nor. Cal. championships hosted at American River College on May 8, 2015.  The ladies battled the 25 teams that qualified by collectively put it together for the title.Dodge earned the most points, as the most valuable ARC track athlete, by putting in 18 points.  She finished 2nd in the 10K (39.08), was third in the 5K (18:24.79) and 5th in the 1500 (4:51.25).

Kandace Compton added 15.5 points from 3rd in the 800m (2:15.97), 2nd in the 1500 (4:42.52) and 2nd in the 4X400 (3:59.27) with teammates Ane Archuleta, Keirnan Hawthrone and Morgan Simpson.

Jocelyn Stillwell contributed 11 points by winning the 3k Steeple (11:28.94) and 8th in the 400H (1:10.08).

Imani Thomas scored another 11 points by finishing 3rd in the 200 (26.87), 5th in the 100m (12.11), and 2nd in the 4X100 (47.49) with teammates Abigail Finlayson, Olivia Brown and Tatiana Bell.

Mackenzie Theiler scored 10 points by winning the heptathlon (4517).

Olivia Brown put in 7 points from her4th in the 100 (11.93) and 2nd in the 4X100.

Tatiana Bell and Siena Morgan both scored 6 points each.  Bell's came from her 6th in the 100 (12.25), 8th in the 200 (26.37) and the 2nd place 4X100.  Morgan was 3rd in the pole vault (3.25).

Carmen Garcia and Shelby Crider both put in 5 points.  Garcia was 5th in the shot (12.10) and Crider was 4th in the Javelin (39.32m).

Morgan Simpson added 4.5 points from her 6th in the 400m (1:00.08) along with her 3rd place in the 4X400 relay.

Adrianna Reagan put in 3.5 points from her 5th in the high jump (1.56m).

Mayra Villa and Abigail Finlayson both added 2 points.  Villa's came from her 7th place in the 3k steeple (12:48.10), and Finlayson's came from her 4X100 relay leg.

Keirnan Hawthrone and Ane Archuleta both added 1.5 points from the 4X400 relay.

Mariah Earl also scored a point with her 8th in the 100H (15.63).

Thirteen ladies qualified onto the State Meet Championships to be in San Mateo May 15-16.
