Cariaso and Rennick hit to marks at the Beaver Relays

Lauren Cariaso hits the third best mark in the state at 5.60m

Micayla Rennick won the event, and hit the second best mark in the state today, with her season debut in the ladies 800m.  She won the event with her 2:16.81 and is the second lady beaver to hit the state automatic qualifying mark, behind last week's double champion Jenica Dodge.

Lauren Cariaso also hit the state "A" standard with her long jump of 5.60m (18.37 feet), which currently places her third in the state.

Coming off injury, in her first meet this season, was Kasey McNamara who hit the provisional mark in the 400 (1:02.09).

Ashley Albor won the 3K Steeple (12:18) hitting the NorCal Standard with the second best mark in the state.  She was followed by teammates Eleanor Velez (12:50), Hannah Montague (13:00) and Jessica Swingle (13:32).  Albor's teammates are currently ranked fourth, seventh and eighth in the state.  The lady beavers continue their tradition of dominating the steeple event with five of their ladies currently in the top eight for state.
