The American River College Volleyball program participated in the Delta Classic over the weekend. The Delta Classic, hosted by San Joaquin Delta College, invites the top NorCal Volleyball teams to particpate in a multi-day tournament.
The Beavers played four matches in two days and finished the tournament 2-2. On Thursday, the Beavers defeated Butte College 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-12) and dropped a tight match to Lassen College 3-1 (25-21, 25-20, 11-25, 26-24). On Saturday, the Beavers defeated Cabrillo College 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-22) and dropped a five set match to rival Sierra College 3-2 (25-14, 17-25, 24-26, 25-20, 15-11).
The Beavers will be back in action on Friday, September 15th, as they open up conference play at home against Modesto Junior College at 6:30 PM.
