Bio

Rheann Fall will be in her third year as the assistant coach at American River College.

 

She attended CSU Monterey Bay for her undergrad and was a four-year starter as an outside hitter. In her junior year at CSUMB in 2010, Coach Rheann was selected to the Daktronics All-America First Team, the first Otter athlete in history to earn All-American honors in any sport. She accomplished another first for CSUMB in 2010 when she was selected as the American Volleyball Coaches Association National Player of the Week. Her list of accomplishments goes on at CSUMB as broke the single game record for kills (27) in 2008 as a freshman, earned All West Region and All CCAA First Team honors in 2010 & 2011, and was selected CSUMB Female Athlete of the Year in 2010-2011.

 

Following her distinguished college career, Rheann served as an Assistant Coach for the Otters at CSUMB from 2012-2014. In addition to coaching at the college level, she gained extensive club coaching experience at the Carmel Beach Volleyball Club from 2009-2014 and spent a year as the freshman coach at Salinas High School. Rheann earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from CSUMB in 2012 and her Masters in Educational, School, and Counseling Psychology- Positive Coaching from the University of Missouri in 2016. 

 

Rheann grew up in Elk Grove and attended St. Francis High School where she played a significant role in the Troubadour’s success. She was a four year varsity player, a Delta River League Champion from 2004-2008, Sac Joaquin Section Champion in 2004, 2005, and 2007, and a member of the St. Francis CIF California State High School Championship team in 2005. In her senior year, Rheann was named Delta River League MVP and was selected MVP of the 2008 Optimist Senior All-Star game. Playing club volleyball for Force, she was a starting outside hitter with exceptional ball control skills and an uncanny ability to find the floor as an attacker. At Force, her team qualified and competed in USA Volleyball’s Junior Nationals year after year.
