ARC Women’s Water Polo NorCal Champions 2013
The American River College women’s water polo team won the 2013 NorCal Championship this past weekend. The women went undefeated this season in NorCal play with a perfect 12-0 record.
ARC Women’s Water Polo Big8 Conference Champions!!!
American River College women’s water polo are the 2013 Big 8 conference champions! The beavers were 7-0 in conference play leading into the conference tournament.
ARC women’s polo moves into 1st place in Big 8 with a win over Sierra
American River College defeated Sierra in a 7-5 victory last Wednesday in front of a full crowd. American River College won the initial sprint and scored in the first possession.
ARC takes on the Top 4 SoCal Teams
American River College traveled to the Central Coast to play in the Robo Bank Women’s Water Polo Tournament. ARC opened with SoCal #1 Golden West. ARC was able to close the gap, scoring 7 goals and a strong defensive second half.
ARC 11 vs. Fresno City 10
American River College traveled to Fresno City to kick off a 5 game series. ARC opened with the first goal and then continued to trade goals for the entire 4 quarters.
Big 8 Conference Game ARC 14 vs. Sacramento City
In the third conference game of the season the Beavers took a quick lead with 3 goals in the first ninety seconds of the game. A collaborative team effort with 10 different players scoring for ARC.

Fast swimming and hard work keep women’s water polo team on path to victory The American River College women’s water polo team has played short-handed to begin the 2013 season. As of Sept. 23 the women’s team is ranked No. 4 in the state according to the coaches poll.
ARC 8 vs Santa Rosa 4
ARC opened their 2013 Big 8 Conference schedule with an 8-4 win over Santa Rosa. The Beavers were down 1-0 after missing 9 attempts on goal at the end of the first quarter.
Women's Water Polo splits with SoCal
American River College women’s water polo hosted the 6th Annual “River Rage” Tournament over the weekend. The tournament was structured using match play, with teams from northern California competing against those from southern California.
Women's Water Polo wins season opener
The American River College women's water polo team opened the 2013 season with a win over Southern California’s Orange Coast College, 8-7. The Beavers came out strong in the first quarter, taking an early 4-1 lead. Their attacking approach dampened in the second and third quarters, allowing Orange Coast back into the game.
