The American River College Women's Water Polo program competed over the weekend in the Big 8 Confernece Tournament and placed third.
The Beavers began the tournament with an 11-5 victory over Fresno City College. The Beavers then took on San Joaquin Delta College in the next round, but would fall 22-4.
In the third place match, the Beavers would prevail over Diablo Valley College 14-7.
The Beavers will be back in action next weekend for the NorCal Championships at San Joaquin Delta College.
